This scam is extra disgusting because it preys on men with a real health problem. The product is called Uromend and it claims to be an effective treatment for men with prostate problems. Selling for almost $70 a bottle, this scam is cleaning out the wallets of men conned into thinking they could improve their health.
The problem is this pill is not what it claims to be. Lab tests done on Uromend by Chris Hansen’s team for ProstateSecrets.com showed that it contained nowhere near what they claim on the label. Notably, the label has no business address on it as required, nor does it say where the pills are made. That may be because it’s made by a 24-year-old “e-commerce” kid with zero medical experience who is living at his parents house in Hallandale, FL. Despite creating over a dozen different companies in several different states to try to hide his identity, this scammer named Jacob Hutiu has been found.
According to ProstateSecrets, the clock is ticking for Hutiu’s scam. Like ProstaThrive and several other scams they uncovered, the FDA and FTC are now on the case and will likely be knocking on Jacob’s parents’ door soon. Getting grounded is going to be the least of little Jacob’s worries soon!
